Honor the Earth Seeks Administrative Assistant

Honor the Earth, a national Anishinaabe environmental non-profit organization located in Callaway, MN, is seeking a disciplined, experienced Administrative Assistant to manage a fast-paced professional office.  Duties include processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, answering phones, responding to emails, entering data in spreadsheets and databases, managing inventory, and assisting the national and local teams as needed.  This position requires:

• the ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• highly developed organizational and problem-solving skills
• excellent attention to detail
• dependability and professionalism 


• Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional office
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 
• Post-secondary degree preferred
• Knowledge of Native American and/or environmental issues a plus 

Hours can be somewhat flexible.  Benefits package negotiable depending on qualifications, but includes vacation, personal, holiday and sick time, and potential for health insurance.
