Mr. Eagletail seeks to bridge the gap between Native and non-Native cultures to create a sustainable, harmonized world for all people. According to Mr. Eagletail, “By promoting particular Indigenous ideas through art, the seventh generation will not be denied access to clean air, water, and land and, above all, life. By placing an emphasis on the group before the individual, we may see the way Indigenous spirituality kept humans connected to our sacred Mother.” Mr. Eagletail holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Art in Art Education from the University of New Mexico . He is pursuing Ph.D. studies in Language, Literacy, and Socio-Cultural Studies at the University of New Mexico . Upon completion, he will become the first Tsuu T'ina to receive a Ph.D.
