Phyllis Grant, Pabineau
Ms. Grant is the mother of three beautiful children--Felicia, Tristan, and Christopher--and wife to Jason Grant. Her interests reside not only in drawing, but in writing, music, photography and film. She views all aspects of life as a creative progression. She conducted workshops on Native hip-hop culture for the Creative Arts Festival (2003) in Labrador and is the East Coast Youth Representative for the national magazine, Spirit of Aboriginal Youth (SAY). In 2004, Ms. Grant was nominated for an East Coast Music Association Industry Award for her work with her brother, fellow ECMA nominated rap artist, Red Suga.
