NORTHERN INDIGENOUS LACROSSE (NIL) VISION
The vision of Northern Indigenous Lacrosse is to see our native youth playing lacrosse locally, regionally, nationally and internationally and to also promote traditional lacrosse games. Lacrosse program development is occurring in various capacities within reservation, First Nation communities and urban areas and our mission is to combine these efforts in a collective program of recreational and competitive game play. NIL will be competing in regional events at the field, box and women’s games levels.
The NIL Training Camp will focus on developing and refining position play and game situations and to prepare our native youth to play at a high level quickly. The NIL Training Camp will allow boys and girls participation in the contact game. The NIL Girls Training Camp will only be for girls in the non-contact game.
