In August 2002, Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett played a concert in Duluth, Minnesota to raise money for Honor the Earth and the White Earth Land Recovery Project through the sale of front row seats and backstage passes to interested fans. In December, Indigo Girls and Aimee Mann’s concert in Boston, Massachusetts kicked off Honor the Earth’s Energy Justice Initiative, which seeks to advance a renewable energy agenda throughout Indian Country.
