Indigo Girls

Indigogirls.com

The Indigo Girls are an American folk rock music duo consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, who co-founded Honor the Earth with Winona LaDuke in 1993. The Indigo Girls have made activism a core of their work from the beginning, and we are proud to have engaged in this work with them over the past twenty years.

Nahko and Medicine for the People

Oregon-native Nahko, along with musical troubadours Medicine for the People, work through their music to spread awareness and take action to make the Changes they know are “healthy for all Earthlings and Mother Gaia herself.” They have been strong partners to Honor the Earth over the past couple years, and their music has helped inspire activism and engagement with the critical work taking place at the intersection of Indigenous self-determination and the global movement toward climate justice.
