Dawn Newbrough
Before joining Honor the Earth, Dawn volunteered with Honor the Earth for over a year. In 2010, she received her Masters Degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN and has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Dawn has over 17 years of experience with the federal government, including the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Agriculture and IRS. For the past two years, she has been with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, working primarily with their American Indian Supportive Housing Initiative. Dawn has volunteered with the Minneapolis Indian Center, the Will Steger Foundation and served on the board of the Two Feathers Fund. In her free time, she likes to dabble in sewing, ride her bike around the city, get lost in a good book and hang out with her nieces & nephews. Dawn dreams of owning an Airstream and one day, she will learn how to play guitar!
