The Creator’s Game Gathering Instructors:
Curtiss Summers (Oneida), Oneida Nation Lacrosse: Shekoli,Shalakhwa niyukyats. On^yote’aka niwakuw^tsyot^. Wakesklewake niwaki’talot^. Hello my name is Curt Summers and I come from the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin. I am Bear Clan. I have been involved in lacrosse for the better part of my life. I played for about 15 years competitively and took a few years off after a couple shoulder injuries. I had the idea of starting a program and had gathered a group of community members that had the same passion I had for the game. It took a good 5 years to where we are today. Player participation is up to 75 players and parents and family participation is nearly double. We now have a U9, U11, U13 and U15 youth program. I am currently the head coach for our Tribal High School for the past three years. Our U13 team took home gold and the U15 team won silver at the 2015 State Games of America Games in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Brett was named a second Team All-American as a senior in 2006 and Honorable Mention All-American as a junior (2005) after making the switch from midfielder to attack. Has played lacrosse since age 3 and introduced to the game by his father, Freeman Bucktooth.
