Starting June 4th and 5th, the tribal governments of White Earth and Mille Lacs Bands, joined by the 1855 Treaty Commission, will host public hearings on the Enbridge pipelines.  Our people will testify as to why our lakes and wild rice are sacred and worth protecting from dirty oil. Scales-of-Justice.jpg8/11 - 8/14/2015 : Botsford Trial Support

From August 11-14, we will ride our horses to stand with the Botsford Family in Grand Forks, North Dakota, as they defend themselves against Enbridge’s attempt to condemn their land through eminent domain.  Enbridge is suing this family, and force the Sandpiper pipeline on their family's legacy.  Many are planning to join us for the 4-day jury trial and have a good time - The Sioux Chef, many expert witnesses, and our allies from the Lakota Nation and the Cowboys and Indians Alliance.   Foreign corporations should not have the power to steal American land for private profits.   Join us.  The trial will set some precedent about whose rights are valued more - American citizens or Enbridge.  MORE...
