Support the Duluth 7!

enbridgeoffice.JPG

On November 2, seven people were arrested in the Enbridge offices in downtown Duluth, after Enbridge staff refused to read their letter, signed by representatives of 5 different organizations with thousands of members across the region. The letter requested several changes to the process of Enbridge's multiple crude oil pipeline proposals, including formal consultation with tribal governments and full environmental review. When Enbridge refused to talk and called the police, the "Duluth 7", in an act of civil disobedience, chose not to leave. They were charged with tresspassing and taken to jail, then released later that night. On December 8th, they have their first court date. Please join us OUTSIDE the St. Louis County Courthouse for a press conference and rally to show support!
