1) Federal PV Panel Roof

The U.S. General Services Administration announces its intent to seek a contractor to perform design/build of a Building Integrated Photovoltaic Roof at the C.S. Fisher Federal Courthouse, Trenton, NJ. The roof shall be an Energy Star rated single-ply cool roof at the upper-most tier of the courthouse which integrates flexible, amorphous PV panels directly into the roofing system. The rooftop area is 4,063 square feet. Total estimated cost between $100K and $250K. GSAexpect to post the RFP on or about 9/2/08 with proposals due 10/2/08.

2) Industrial Energy Efficiency Programs

The U.S. Department of Energy requests proposals for Save Energy Now: State, Regional and Local Delivery. This initiative will support the development and delivery of industrial energy efficiency programs implemented at the local, state and/or regional level. $9.5 million expected to be available, up to 16 awards anticipated. State and Territorial Energy Offices must be the lead applicant. A Letter of Intent is requested but no required and is due 9/15/08. Final proposals due 10/16/08. 3) Global Climate Change Education

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) requests proposals for the Global Climate Change Education (GCCE) project. The GCCE is designed to improve the quality of global climate change and Earth system science education at the elementary, secondary, and undergraduate levels. Funded projects are expected to take advantage of NASA's contributions in climate science to enhance students' academic experiences and/or to improve educators' abilities to engage and stimulate their students. Up to 24 awards anticipated, award range $150K to $500K. A Notice of Intent is required and is due 8/29/08, final proposals due 10/24/08.

4) Global Climate Change Modeling and Early Career Projects

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requests proposals, under a joint solicitation, for 1) Adaptation for Future Air Quality Analysis and Decision Support Tools in Light of Global Change Impacts and Mitigation, and 2) Early Career Projects. Through this initiative, EPA seeks the development of modeling capability to provide: Insights to the air-quality-planning community; a capability to account for uncertainty and variability in the projections of a future world that includes global change and; an evaluation of the robustness of predictions made with improved tools when applied to relevant scientific and policy questions. This research must link from local to the global scale and back for predictions out to 40 years into the future. Addtionally, this initiative includes the opportunity for early career projects. $5 million expected to be available, up to 7 awards anticipated. Repsonses due 10/21/08.

5) Transportation, GHG and Decision Making

The National Academy of Sciences, Transportation Research Board, requests proposals for Incorporating Greenhouse Gas Emissions into the
Collaborative Decision Making Process. The objective of this initiative is to develop a transportation project evaluation process to
help stakeholders balance the need to reduce delays caused by conflicting demands with the need to produce transportation solutions
that support community, economic, and environmental goals. Responses due 9/9/08.

6) Emerging Clean Diesel Technologies

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requests proposals for the Clean Diesel Emerging Technologies Program, for projects that reduce
emissions from existing diesel engines through the development and commercialization of emerging technologies. Through this initiative,
awardees will consult with a manufacturer of an emerging technology and will install a technology on an appropriate fleet. Awardees will
assist manufacturers with its development by providing the means to capture real world data and gain valuable operating experience,
ultimately leading to the commercialization of the emerging technology $3 million expected to be available, up to 5 award anticipated.

7) Clean Air School Bus Program

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) requests proposals for the Clean Air School Bus Program Round 2.
Through this program, NYSERDA seeks projects that maximize the environmental and energy benefits of introducing emission-reducing
technology for diesel-fueled buses into school bus fleets and accelerating the introduction of these emission-reduction technologies
into the market. $3 million expected to be available. Proposal due 10/14/08.

8) Municipal Water and Wastewater RD&D - New York

NYSERDA requests proposals for the Municipal Water and WastewaterResearch, Development and Demonstration Program. Projects should be
designed to reduce and/or optimize energy consumption; reduce energy and other operating costs; and improve environmental performance of NY
State's municipal water and wastewater. Development of products that meet the objectives of the program, and research studies on relevant
energy and environmental issues may also be supported. $2 million expected to be available, award range $250K to $400K. Responses due

9) Local Food Production - New York

NYSERDA requests proposals for Energy Productivity in Innovative Local Food Production Systems. Through this initiative, NYSERDA will support
RD&D, and commercialization of, or outreach for, energy efficient technologies and/or practices related to innovative NY-based food
production systems, such as Controlled Environment Agriculture, greenhouse technologies, and aquaculture that support a sustainable
economy, lead to sound energy management and can reduce dependence on carbon-based fuels. $1.5 million expected to be available, proposals
due 11/2/08 and 1/8/09.

10) Renewables - Colorado

Black Hills Energy seeks 1 MW of solar on-site renewable energy certificates from non-residential solar resources of greater than
100 kW to meet Colorado RPS requirements. Responses due 9/15/08.

11) 25 Year Solar Contract - California

The U.S. Coast Guard announces its intent to request bids for a 25 yearcontract to provide solar electrical utility services from a contractor
owned, installed, and operated photovoltaic array to be located on U.S. Coast Guard property in Petaluma, CA. It is anticipated that arrays in
the range of 500kW to 1MW are feasible. The solicitation will be posted on or about 8/22/08.
