What does a clean, just energy future look like?
Often, the economically disadvantaged are the most adversely affected
by energy decisions. The Energy Justice program at Fresh Energy works
to pass policies that help build the capacity of low-income individuals
to have a strong voice in those decisions.
After working for many years with First Nation Communities in Manitoba,
Canada, Fresh Energy is now collaborating with Minnesota tribes on a
new, critically needed project to increase energy efficiency and energy
conservation on reservations, particularly in housing.
Hosts Gail Daneker and Ian Keith, the Energy Justice Advisory Committee,
and co-hosts cordially invite you to join them in supporting the Energy
Justice program at Fresh Energy. Please come to a fundraising benefit
to learn more about the work and how you can help.
